Tackle decorating with these easy steps
1. Use a 1.5” wide brush loaded with paint to go round the top. Use a long sweep with the bristles up to the crease and have a wet cloth to hand for any paint that creeps onto the ceiling.
2. Continue round the sides and to the skirting board, plus any light switches or sockets – apply painter’s tape beforehand. The lines should be at least 5cm wide.
3. Load a roller with paint and fill in the space. Go over each area in several directions and use a pole for areas that are high up. Allow to dry before applying a second coat.
